The Eastern Cluster of AgroGeneration began gathering sunflower, corn, and soybean from its fields. This year the yield of these crops is above plan. At the same time they are sowing winter crops. Bloomberg Businessweek correspondents came to visit two agricultural firms – Podolivska and Barvinkivska – and learnt about the situation with Ukrainian agriculture. AgroGeneration’s CEO John Shmorhun, Chief Agronomist of the Eastern Cluster Zakhar Shelukhin, General Director of Agrofirma Podolivska Ihor Makarevych took the guests on an agro excursion across the company’s fields, visited a farm growing Angus cattle, and organized an interview with employees of the agricultural company.
